Good photos taken at the scene answer many questions an adjuster will ask later. Take more than you think you need, only when it's safe.
Shot list
- Wide shots of the scene from several angles, showing the cars' positions
- All damage to every vehicle, close up and from a distance
- License plates
- The other driver's license and insurance card (with permission)
- Traffic signs, signals and road markings
- Skid marks, debris and road conditions
- Any visible injuries
